  • Feeding: A high-quality, color-enhancing diet will help maintain the vibrancy of the hi markings. Feed 2–4 times daily during warmer months.
  • Pond size: A minimum of 1,000 gallons is recommended for a small group of koi. Larger ponds promote better growth and health.
  • Filtration: Robust biological and mechanical filtration is essential to keep water pristine and support the fish's immune system.

Color Development Over Time
