Shipping & Live Arrival Policy

🐟 Live koi ship Mon–Wed via UPS Overnight only. Orders containing live koi + other items may have separate shipping charges.

Live Koi Shipping

At Crystal Creek Koi Farm, we take the safe transport of our fish extremely seriously. Every live koi order is carefully prepared and packaged to ensure your fish arrive healthy and stress-free.

Packaging

All live koi are shipped in thick double-sealed, pure oxygen-filled bags placed inside heavy-duty, thick-walled, solid boxes with packing to protect your precious cargo. Heat packs or cold packs are included based on current weather conditions along the shipping route.

Temperature Protection

We monitor weather conditions along every shipping route before your order goes out. If temperatures are too extreme — whether dangerously cold or excessively hot — we may hold your shipment until conditions are safe. Your fish's health always comes first, and we will contact you directly if a delay is necessary to ensure safe delivery.

Shipping Days

Live fish orders ship Monday through Wednesday only. This prevents fish from sitting in transit over weekends or holidays. Orders placed after Wednesday will ship the following Monday - Wednesday.

Shipping Methods

Live koi are shipped via overnight shipping only. We do not offer standard ground shipping for live fish.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We guarantee live arrival on all koi orders shipped within the continental United States under the following conditions:

  • You must be available to receive the package on the delivery date
  • Any DOA (dead on arrival) claims must be reported within 2 hours of confirmed delivery
  • A clear photo of the deceased fish in the unopened or just-opened bag must be provided with the tail cut off.
  • The package must not have been left in extreme heat or cold for extended periods

Valid DOA claims will receive a replacement fish or store credit at our discretion.

Blackwater Brand Koi Food & Supplies Shipping

Non-live product orders are shipped via UPS and typically arrive within 2–5 business days. Blackwater brand koi food and supplies ship separately from live koi orders.

Order Tracking

You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped. Please monitor your shipment closely, especially for live fish orders.
