Cool Season Koi & Goldfish Food — 2 lb Bag (Medium Pellet)

When the water cools, your koi's digestive system changes. Their food should too.
Below 55°F, koi metabolism slows significantly. Standard koi food — high protein, high fat — doesn't digest properly at cold water temperatures. It ferments in the gut, stresses the immune system, and can cause serious health problems heading into winter.
Don't skip this transition. It's one of the most important things you can do for your koi's long-term health.
Why Wheat-Germ Works in Cold Water
Cool Season is wheat-germ based and low-fat by design. Easy to digest when metabolism is slow. Gentle enough to feed through fall and into early spring without taxing your fish. At 4% fat — the lowest in the Blackwater lineup — it's formulated specifically for the biology of a cold-water koi.
Also Ideal for Spring Spawning
The low-fat formula reduces the risk of egg-bound females and supports recovery after the physical demands of spawning. Switch to Cool Season in early spring until water temps stabilize above 60°F, then return to the Combo Diet or your growth formula.
The Rule
Water consistently below 55°F → switch to Cool Season.
Water back above 60°F → return to Combo Diet or Max Growth.

About ANIb — Better Health Through Nutrition
ANIb is a combination of natural substances including probiotics, amino acids, enzymes, and other ingredients designed to help promote optimal health and growth. ANIb supplements nutrients that are typically lacking in captive fish diets and helps maintain the proper active flora, bacteria, and enzymes — resulting in better utilization of feed, less waste, and less water quality-related issues.
ANIb promotes increased external protection from disease and parasites and overall better disease resistance. Mucus is the first line of defense in fish, and maintaining this barrier helps ward off attacks by disease-causing agents.
