The Taisho Sanke is one of the three great Gosanke varieties — the triumvirate of koi royalty alongside the Kohaku and Showa. Where the Kohaku is pure elegance and the Showa is bold drama, the Taisho Sanke strikes a refined balance: a flawless snow-white (Shiro) base adorned with rich red-orange (Hi) markings and precise, well-placed black (Sumi) accents that add depth and sophistication without overwhelming the composition.

This 11" farm-raised specimen from Crystal Creek Koi Farm is a mature, visually commanding fish. The Hi is vivid and well-defined, the Shiro is clean and bright, and the Sumi spots are crisp and purposefully placed — the hallmarks of a quality Sanke that will only improve with age.
