Sleek, Golden, and Utterly Unique

The Doitsu Yamabuki Ogon is one of the most elegant koi in the metallic family — and this 10"–12" Premium specimen is a standout example of the variety. Where a scaled Yamabuki Ogon dazzles with a full coat of golden scales, the Doitsu version offers something different: a clean, smooth body with just a single row of mirror scales tracing the dorsal line and lateral flanks, letting the warm yellow-gold (yamabuki) base color shine with an almost lacquered quality.

This fish was selected at the Premium grade for its rich, even yamabuki coloration, clean scalation pattern, strong body shape, and the golden metallic luster that defines the Ogon family at its finest.
