Few koi command attention like the Doitsu Hi Utsuri and its golden cousin, the Kin Ki Utsuri. The Hi Utsuri carries a blazing red-orange (Hi) body wrapped in bold, lacquer-black (Sumi) markings — a dramatic two-tone contrast that intensifies with age. The Kin Ki Utsuri replaces the red with a rich metallic gold, creating a luminous, jewel-like presence in any pond. Both are presented here in the Doitsu scale pattern — smooth, mirror-scaled along the dorsal and lateral lines — giving these fish a sleek, modern silhouette unlike any fully-scaled koi.

This 10" specimen is farm-raised at Crystal Creek Koi Farm and is at an ideal size for establishing pond presence while still offering years of growth ahead.
